How To Make Marijuana Infused Hummus

Marijuana infused foods or edibles, are a great way to medicate. The problem I run into is that most medical marijuana edibles on the market are high in sugar and incredibly unhealthy.
I often found myself wanting to medicate, but could not stand the thought of eating all the sugar in one of the brownies or cookies the dispensary sold. So this past year, I have been trying to make many different healthy marijuana edible recipes.
I started with a simple marijuana infused hummus recipe. If you don’t know, hummus is basically just chickpeas and sesame seeds. For my first attempt, I went with the traditional flavoring using garlic and some lemon juice. I might get a little crazier next time.
Ingredients:
1 15oz Can Chickpeas
1/2 Cup Tahini
1/4 Cup Weed Infused Olive Oil
1/8-1/4 Cup Olive Oil
2 Cloves Garlic, peeled
1 tsp Paprika
1 Lemon, juiced
1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Pepper
Directions:
Drain the chickpeas, but reserve the liquid & set aside.
In a food processor, puree the chickpeas, tahini, marijuana olive oil, regular olive oil, garlic, paprika, lemon juice, and half of the reserved chickpea liquid. If the mixture does not become smooth, add in more chickpea liquid until it does.
Place in a bowl. Sprinkle with paprika and drizzle with additional marijuana infused olive oil.
Serve with bread or veggies.
Store in an airtight container up to one week.
